Overview
The foldable Radiating Elements BBAE 9179 are especially tailored to the requirements of Automotive Immunity testing. Comparable requirements can also be found in aerospace and defence standards. The BBAE 9179 elements are optimized for the frequency range 20-220 MHz and 1 m test distance, with a maximum antenna dimension of 1.5 m. In comparison to the most common biconical elements BBA 9106 a fieldstrength increase can be achieved with the BBAE 9179 in the frequency ranges 20 to 95 MHz and 150 to 200 MHz. The elements are equipped with 10 mm bolts to be accepted by nearly all Schwarzbeck Baluns. For most applications, the high power baluns VHBC 9133, VHBD 9134 and VHBD 9134-4 are recommended.
