Multi-Test EMC Generators

(Showing 1 of 25)

The EMC Shop stocks test generators with multiple transient immunity capabilities. The most common are configured with Surge & EFT waveforms per IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5. Then you can usually load them with two or three more test capabilities. Some customers will add more surge immunity tests (ring wave or telecom).

Voltage dips and drops to meet IEC 61000-4-11 and IEC 61000-4-29 is a very common 3rd test to add.

The Surge functionality in a transient immunity generator can be used to generated the magnetic fields required in IEC 61000-4-8 and IEC 61000-4-9 testing.

Depending on the manufacturer, additional hardware may be required for the additional testing or testing on data lines and three phase power products.
