Overview
The Schwarzbeck VHFU 8802 is an unbalanced VHF Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) designed for conducted emissions measurements in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 300 MHz. It provides a defined impedance to the equipment under test while isolating external noise from the power source, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurement conditions.
At The EMC Shop, customers typically use the VHFU 8802 in EMC test setups where higher-frequency conducted emissions must be evaluated beyond the standard LISN range. It is commonly integrated with spectrum analyzers and EMI receivers to capture and analyze noise signals on power lines in accordance with relevant EMC standards.
The VHFU 8802 is particularly suited for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications, where high-frequency interference can impact system performance. Its stable characteristics and robust construction allow engineers to confidently perform both pre-compliance and compliance testing across extended frequency ranges.
