Schwarzbeck VHIC 9260 Overview
The low noise impedance matching equipment VHIC 9260 (Fig. 1) has a high impedance input with minimized capacity. With the 50 ? output it can be used with common EMI receivers or spectrum analyzers to measure the emissions received by an antenna on a vehicle in the frequency band from 9 kHz to 120 MHz. As signal source a rod antenna or a capacitive voltage probe can be used. The good linearity allows precise measurements of the limits provided in CISPR 25. 2 BNC Connectors are used as RF-in- and output.
The measurement of the noise floor in the FM Band is possible by adding a 50 Ohm load to the input as described in CISPR 25. To avoid probable disturbance caused by a power supply the unit is equipped with 8 rechargeable NiMH-cells 1.2 V / 1900 mAh. A suitable charger is delivered optionally. The typical operation time is about 50 hours. The charging time is typically 2-4 hours.
