Overview
Create barriers to isolate radiated electromagnetic fields in and around your test environment. Arranging multiple shielding walls and mounting ferrite and absorber will allow you to appropriately attenuate reflected energy in the test area and facilitate a controlled uniformed field area for radiated immunity testing.
While an anechoic chamber is ideal for isolation of the test area, they are expensive in both cost and time to design, permit and build. We have found customers using the ALSB walls are able to get meaningful test results they can correlate to the products performance at the test lab. Also used for radiated emissions testing, and with absorbing technology taking a step forward as of recent, the ability to isolate test areas for more than product testing has appealed to other areas of our customers business.
Modular walls are easy to setup and move around for short term and pre-compliance EMC testing, outdoor projects and more. The ALSB structure consists of aluminum tubes and plates, with locking casting wheels. Ferrite and multiple sizes of pyramidal absorber can be mounted to the plate with velcro.
