Overview

The TIS 700 automotive transient generator is the most efficient option on the market in terms of price, size and ease of setup and testing. The EMC Shop is the North American stocking distributor of 3ctest equipment, getting test labs and precompliance EMC testing accomplished fast and easily.

The 3ctest TIS 700 series for automotive transient generation unifies the capabilities of an EFT/Burst simulator, a micro pulse simulator and the required coupling network in one box. The TIS 700 series are equipped to meet all international and car manufacturer specifications.

The current of built-in coupling networks range up to 100 Amps depending on the model. The built-in coupling network can be used and controlled by any unit in the LDS200 series, APG series and APS series. For tests beyond standards requirements the waveform parameters of the micro pulse generator can be varied in a wide range by means of the freestyle mode.

    Equipment Rental

I was offered this instrument after my preferred Teseq unit wasn’t available. While visiting China I was given a tour of the 3C factory by the owner. I was impressed with the engineering and shakedown testing performed. I rented the equipment for 2 weeks and was impressed by the ease of use and accuracy of the wave shapes when I did the pretest verification. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this instrument form the EMC shop if I needed it.
