Overview

The EMC Shop has tested and calibrated the Applied Systems Engineering 87902-1 Model 20 Series CW TWT Amplifier and found the equipment to be within the manufacturer's specification. The characterization was carried out in accordance with the general requirements of local TES procedures using laboratory standards whcvih are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and TEchnology (NIST) except where none met. Tests are carried out in enviornmental conditions controlled appropriately to the instrument's specification.

The Model 20 series CW TWTA Amplifier was designed to operate 25 watt traveling wave tubes over a 4- 18 GHz range. The High Voltage Power Supplies are modular DC-DC converter designs. The power supply design provides superior stability for optimum TWT phase noise and spurious performance. The front panel has two page modes with a monitor for operation.
