Overview
The 3ctest LISN ML1500HVS Artificial Power Network is designed for high-current conducted emissions testing in demanding environments where standard LISNs are no longer sufficient. It provides a stable and controlled impedance between the power source and the equipment under test (EUT), ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements in compliance with standards such as MIL-STD-461E and GJB requirements.
This LISN is commonly used in applications involving very high current systems, including industrial equipment, power electronics, and defense platforms. By isolating external power line noise, it allows engineers to measure only the emissions generated by the EUT, resulting in more reliable test data.
At The EMC Shop, we support customers working with high-current LISNs like the ML1500HVS by helping configure safe and effective test setups. This includes guidance on grounding, system layout, and selecting the appropriate EMI receiver or spectrum analyzer to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
