Overview

The EMC Shop HDA3G half wave dipole antenna is used to generate defined radiated power and is fed with RF-power, leading to the same field strength reading as the DUT. The HDA3G covers 1 GHz - 3 GHz frequency range and has a maximum output power of 100 watts. The HDA3G should be considered as a standard reference antenna for frequencies below 3 GHz.This design has a moveable shorting bar which is set to a quarter wavelength to provide great symmetry.
