Overview
The Amplifier Research AT3000 10 KHz to 30 MHz radiator uses low inductance high-power internal load resistors to terminate RF power and offers well-matched input VSWR. Also incorporated into the AT3000's design is a broadband transformer that helps increase output voltage. With optional forced-air cooling, the AT3000 can handle power levels up to 3000 watts.
It is a wideband E-field generator from Amplifier Research Corp. Incorporated to this instrument is a broadband matching transformer and has no band switching. The "E" field runs between the elements.
This device uses low-inductance, high power internal load resistors. The AT3000 is very portable and comes delivered with a clamp mount and extender rod for mounting. A tripod (Item 800) should be considered to complete the mounting procedure. Very similar to item 326 but handling more power.
Field strength is shown using AR broadband power amplifiers. Field streght are typical and do not include cable losses. Individual shielded , reflections, amplifiers and test-system characteristics will influence performance.
