Overview
The FISHER F-33-1 Current Monitor Probe Set (2) can be used for EMC Emissions troubleshooting. The advantage of a these current probes are absolute accuracy in order to be able to predict whether a given cable under test will pass or fail the emissions limit. You can connect these to spectrum analyzers and its possible to use them with an oscilloscope. A troubleshooting techniqu is to use one probe to trigger a I/O cable and identify whether other cables are in phase or out of phase.
These probes can also be used for laboratory and field testing as they have a small outer diameter, approx. 71mm with an internal diameter of 32mm. Its transfer impedance is 5Ω from 1 MHz to 250 MHz. It can an operate up to 100 amperes of DC – 400Hz, 10 amperes of CW and 50 amperes of peak pulse.
