HVSB Description
The HVSB Shielded Enclosure was designed to increase the shielding effectiveness of automotive LISN significantly, which is necessary for measurements of electric- or hybrid vehicles. The aluminium housing is equipped with three quick fasteners and gas springs, allowing to open or close the box within a few seconds. Additionally front and backpanel come with a unique quicklock system to accelerate the mounting of the shielded HV-cables.
Connections
On the front panel there are four RF-Nconnectors, two for measuring the disturbance voltage on HV+ and HV-, the third and fourth are designated with AUX and can be used to connect current clamps. The slots of the shielded enclosure are equipped with EMC-gaskets to maintain the maximum possible shielding effectiveness. The most commonly used shielded HV-cables are guided through feedthrough terminals providing a reliable, full circumference contact of the cable shield with the shielded enclosure. These features ensure the highest degree of shielding performance combined with shortest possible time needed for EuT connections. In the inside of the shielding enclosure there are four aluminium mounting angles to accept the ground terminals of the LISN and connect them to the shielded enclosure.
Ordering Information
Depending on the current rating of the LISNs in use there are three pairs of different flange panels available, which provide the necessary clamping range for the cable feedthrough. The outer dimensions of the flange panels are the same for any current rating, therefore a later retrofit to meet other current ratings is possible with little effort.

Assembly For a better ground connection, the additional grounding-bars can be installed: As shown above, loosen the bottom screws of the enclosure using a Torx T10 tool and use these screws to mount the supplied grounding-bar. |
