Overview
Ideal for radiated emissions measurements in between 18 and 40 GHz. The AH40G broadband horn antenna system engineered for high-frequency EMC, microwave, and mmWave measurements from 18 GHz to 40 GHz. A precision dual-ridged horn antenna, integrated low-noise amplifier, RF output interface, and DC power input are combined into a single rugged assembly, eliminating the need for external preamplifiers, additional cabling, and complex system setups.
Designed to maximize measurement sensitivity, the AH40G provides gain up to 61 dB with a noise figure as low as 3.2 dB. By placing the amplifier directly at the antenna, the system minimizes cable losses, reduces overall system noise, and improves the detection of low-level RF emissions across the entire operating band.
Built for both laboratory and compliance test environments, the AH40G mounts to standard tripods and integrates with spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, and microwave measurement systems through a standard 2.92 mm (K) connector. Its rugged construction and compact form factor make it well suited for routine EMC testing, research applications, and field measurements.
