Overview

The ETS-Lindgren EMSense Platinum is a high-performance, laser-powered electric field probe designed for demanding EMC and RF test applications where speed and accuracy are critical. It delivers ultra-fast measurement performance—capable of up to 2 million measurements per second—providing real-time insight into rapidly changing electromagnetic fields.

The EMC Shop customers use the EMSense Platinum for radiated immunity testing, amplifier validation, and field uniformity verification in both anechoic chambers and open test environments. With a wide frequency range of 20 MHz to 18 GHz and a dynamic measurement range of 2 to 1,000 V/m, it ensures precise field strength monitoring across a broad spectrum of test conditions.

Unlike traditional probes, the EMSense Platinum provides direct, real-time readings without buffering delays, ensuring accurate field capture at the exact moment of measurement. Its compact stalk design, combined with three orthogonal dipole antennas, enables true isotropic measurement and consistent results across all axes. Seamless integration with ETS-Lindgren’s EMCenter system allows flexible configurations for both benchtop and rack-mounted setups, making it ideal for R&D, compliance testing, and system validation.
