Overview
The EM Test VSS 500N10.2 voltage surge generator was designed for testing Solar Panels for safety issues in accordance to IEC 61730-2, UL 1703 and other standards.
The distinct operation features, convenient DUT connection facilities, a clearly arranged menu structure and display philosophy as well as the pre-programmed standard test routines make testing easy, reliable and safe. Extendable by a variety of test accessories the VSS 500N10.2 is a universal equipment for abroad range of recommendations.
The specification is in accordance with IEC 469-1 and IEC 61000-4-5 (IEC 61180-1)
Capacitive Load Range Settings:
25R / 15nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 15nF ±10%
20R / 22nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 22nF ±10%
15R / 33nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 33nF ±10%
10R / 47nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 47nF ±10%
7 R / 68nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 68nF ±10%
5 R / 100nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 100nF ±10%
3.5R / 150nF this is for testing Solar panels having a capacitance of 150nF <10%
