Overview
The CA 9260 artificial antenna network (AAN) described in CISPR 25 Annex B, 150kHz to 6.2 MHz, is used to measure the S21 of the Impedance converter VHIC 9260.
For calibrations of the Impedance converter VHIC 9260 additional equipment is required, e.g. a network analyser, a spectrum analyser with tracking generator or a signal generator with a receiver. The EuT-side of CA 9260 must be connected to the input of the VHIC 9260 without cable.
The use of the calibration fixture is described in detail in CISPR 25 or EN 55025 respectively in Annex B. The Calibration Fixture is equipped with BNCfemale connector at the input and BNCmale connector at the output (EuT).
Schwarzbeck CA 9260 Calibration Method
The calibration of VHIC 9260 is performed according to CISPR 25 or EN 55025 respectively. The transmission S21 through the artificial antenna network CA 9260 and the VHIC 9260 is measured. (The nominal value is -9 dB)
Schwarzbeck CA 9260 Procedure
- Define the frequency range from 9 kHz to 120 MHz with Pout = -20dBm!
- Perform a network analyser calibration
- Plot the gain curve S21
