CISPR 11 is the International Standard for electromagnetic emissions (disturbances) from industrial, scientific and medical electrical equipment operating in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz and to domestic and similar appliances designed to generate and/or use locally radio-frequency energy.
Conducted emission limits are specified for the two equipment groups for AC mains power ports and DC power ports. As an example, the AC-port conducted limits for Group 1 equipment are shown for both Class A and Class B. Note the significantly lower emission limit under Class B, with Class B being more restrictive than Class A.
The EMC Shop stocks everything needed to setup a self certification CISPR 11 lab in house. New, used and rental options are availavle for CISPR 11 testing equipment. Purchasing everything with a shielded room or anechoic chamber can break the budget. The EMC Shop works with customers to acquire test equipment in stages, bringing the CISPR 11 lab up to speed based on test standards MOST needed initially.
