Overview
The 3ctest ETS 160W3 is a compact transient simulator designed for electrical fast transient (EFT) and burst immunity testing in accordance with IEC 61000-4-4 and related EMC standards. It is used to evaluate how electronic equipment responds to fast switching disturbances typically found in power lines and control circuits.
In practical applications, engineers use the ETS 160W3 to simulate real-world transient events such as relay switching, inductive load interruptions, and power line disturbances. This allows early identification of susceptibility issues in industrial equipment, control systems, and commercial electronics before formal compliance testing.
