Standard bench calibration covers most instruments. It does not cover a high-power amplifier bolted into a rack, a twenty-year-old surge generator with no remaining service provider, or the question of whether your complete immunity setup actually produces the field level the test report says it does. That is the work this page is about.
The EMC Shop is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by A2LA. Our lab is separated into ESD, RF, field monitoring and conducted/transient areas, so the technician calibrating your equipment works with that class of equipment every day.
Onsite calibration at your facility
For chambers, high-power amplifier systems and anything that should not travel, we send a technician to you. Onsite calibration keeps your lab running, avoids shipping risk on heavy or sensitive equipment, and lets us calibrate the system as it is installed rather than piece by piece on a bench.
System-level verification
Individual certificates for an amplifier, an antenna and a field probe do not guarantee that the three of them produce a compliant field together. We calibrate and verify complete test systems, radiated immunity, conducted immunity, transient/surge and ESD, against the applicable standard so you have assurance that all of the equipment, working together, performs appropriately.
Legacy and hard-to-source equipment
Any EMC equipment, past or present. Our technicians review previous calibration data to identify anomalies and gauge overall condition, and our repair shop is next door if something comes back out of tolerance.
Certification levels
Choose the level your quality system requires: NIST-traceable, ANSI Z540, or ISO 17025 accredited. Statements of conformity (pass/fail) are evaluated using ILAC G8 decision rules with a test uncertainty ratio of 4:1 or greater. See our standard calibration services page for the accreditation scope.
