WHAT IS A RIPPLE GENERATOR?

A ripple generator superimposes fluctating voltage or current waveforms onto DC lines, often resembling small waves ("ripples"), which is used primarily to test the sensitivity of electronic components to power supply variations or noise, particularly in high-voltage applications like electric vehicles, by simulating the unwanted voltage fluctuations on a power line; essentially, it creates controlled "ripples" on a DC power supply to see how a device reacts to them.
